Denver/Pitt game sucks. Want Pitt but pretty sure Brown is out and Ben is hurting. If their defensive secondary was worth a crap or Denvers wasn't so good I would take Pitt. But would be very very happy being wrong about this game.

Kansas City at New England: This one reminds me of 1991 when the Chiefs went to Buffalo after breaking a then 22 year playoff win drought over Todd (the next Ken Stabler, yeah right) Marinovich and the Raiders in the Wild Card round. That team, who blew out the Bills on MNF earlier in the season (remember the infamous coach Levy bird flip?) found out what happens when you energize a championship club and lost in a blowout after hanging (just missed a key pick-6 right before half) for awhile. My heart says KC head says NE. Bottom line is NEVER count a champion out in their house: NEW ENGLAND by 10.

Green Bay at Arizona: This was a major blowout just a few weeks ago. The Pack is much healthier BUT Zona has one of the stoutest D lines in the game and is likely to harass Rodgers relentlessly again. ARIZONA by 7.

Seattle at Carolina: THE best matchup of the weekend. It is very tempting to pick the Seahawks to three-peat in the NFC but I think the Marshawn Lynch situation is a distraction and this is simply Carolina's year (not 100 percent sure but don't think a 15-1 team has ever lost in this round). CAROLINA by 6.

Pittsburgh at Denver: Regardless of who QBs the Broncos I think Pitt is another of those championship programs which won't bow out easily no matter who is hurt (next man up!). If Big Ben plays this may not be very close although Denver's D (which has worn down some late in the season) is still top five. PITTSBURGH by 10.

As I have told many at home etc. I soooooo want to be wrong. KC is having major injury issues as well: C Mitch Morse is out again and it is possible neither Hali nor Houston play today.

Wow I thought this game paralleled 1991 in some ways.............that near INT by Hali in the final minute was just eerie (and showed how fortunate these Pats can sometimes be). GREAT season overall for the Chiefs! I will say again WHAT a year for major league sports in this town the past several months!

Yeah I'd like to feel bad about it but I don't. I wish I could blame it on the fumble by Davis but can't. When Brady gets rid of the ball that fast with his accuracy you just can't stop them. The dudes 15-2 at home in the playoffs Smith did alright keeping us in the game and as Top said when your a great team even bad plays, the should been a puck by Hali, turn into a tipped ball reception to close the game out. I will however say I thought the refs let. Alex take a lot of hits that easily could have been flagged without much argument. Great game though...

The out of bounds hit in the 4th was BLATANT...........I hear ya there. NOW what was that we all just witnessed????? Need some time to digest that!

There were penalties that should have been called on both sides. I saw lafels(sp?) get held twice on a route. The terrible announcers even saw that call(which is shocking because they had no clue what was going on the rest of the game).

They never showed a replay of Avants catch after Smiths scramble, which I am shocked because it look like the nose of the ball hit the ground.

Reference last weeks thread. Everybody was picking Seattle to blow Minny out. Because they're casual fans. I knew Minny was missing half a defense the last go around.

And I picked the Chiefs to win by the most.

Guess I was wrong. I thought you understood english and had played and knew the game of Football. Sorry my bad. See in their first game it was nice weather and Wilson did whatever he wanted like throwing for 274 yards and 3 tds. Then in the second game it was -9 wind chill, you see when it gets that cold your muscles restrict and the ball gets hard, recievers hands are cold hence 13 receptions for 142 yards. WEATHER was the equalizer. Like today, who has the better D Minny or Carolina? Wilson 366 yards and 3 tds., nice weather.......

He didnt throw more against Arizona because it was a beatdown. Seattle became a passing team incase you missed it. Wilson is the only player ever to have 20 passing TDs in 5 games with no picks and a rating over 125 actually 128 over a 5 game period.

As far as why the two differences in the scores against green Bay. Cant answer that one. Green Bay actualy had 8 more yards in their loss than in their win. What I can tell you brain juice boy since you think the weather affected your Viking offense as well, in the two Green Bay games your potent offense scored 13 in your loss and a whopping 20 in your win.
