Brady and Montana have already been named to the list so there are only 8 spots left for the following : manning, young, Unitas, brees, Bradshaw, Baugh, Aikman, Elway, Favre, Fouts, Layne, Graham, Starr, Rodgers, tarkenton, Marino, Van Brocklin, Staubach, Namath

Tough to pick just eight more - realizing the other lists have included quite a few old timers, I’m guessing Unitas, Baugh, Van Brocklin, Marino, Manning, Favre, Elway, rodgers...

Hard to compare different eras. Johnny U called all his plays, rules were so different, fewer games per yr. Hard to compare with recent pass happy league. Today's qbs would be hard pressed to play past 35 yoa if they took the hits they did up thru the late 80's to early 90's. Pass rushers would have eaten up many of today's QBs.

comparing passing stats from the 60s-70s with today is really just silly and shows a lack of historical knowledge.

Silly little man. Comparing stats from different eras like its baseball. Cute. Look up all the rule changes that have occurred over the years about downfield pass interference and holding. THe stats are meaningless. We won't even go into the rules that protect the QB. Let's just say, Brady would not have played past 36 years old, if he played in the 70s and 80s, because people like Lawrence Taylor would have been purposely taking his ass out.

Here is a little lesson on how football used to be played when they still actually had bounties on players --especially quarterbacks.

HOly cow, Brady only made it #5 on two of the SB passer rating and completion % lists for career or game? Imagine that? Hmmm?

Dear lord, you and Duck are just excited to criticize and complain...worse than women. That wasn't a stat comparison, it was just showing where they stood all time and providing statistics.

If I was basing that top 10 (my top 10) on stats without taking eras, rule changes, and longevity into account, I wouldn't have had Sammy Baugh, Sonny Jurgenson, or Otto Graham on my list at all.

Do you want to discuss who's on my list or get into a nonsensical debate about stats? Who on that list do you disagree with and why?

1. Tom Brady

2. Joe Montana

3. Peyton Manning

4. Johnny Unitas

5. Drew Brees

6. Sonny Jurgenson

7. Otto Graham

8. Brett Favre

9. Sammy Baugh

10. Warren Moon

There, no stats, what do you disagree with?

Favre in Bradshaw out. Otherwise I nailed it.

Brady, Favre, Montana, Manning, Unitas, Graham, Baugh, Staubach, Elway, Marino

Bart Starr will probably be a top 10 QB. Arguably the best QB of the 1960s, on the best team of the 1960s. While he may not have eye-popping stats, he was a 5-time NFL champion, including the first 2 Super Bowls.

Miss it by two . Graham for Van Brocklin, Staubach for Rodgers...

Underated Tarkenton from 61-78. 6-0 190. After he retired, it took over 20 years for anybody to better his career passing yard totals.
