I'm sure glad this is what state legislatures have decided to focus on.

Infrastructure improvements, fixing failing schools, ensuring there's clean water (looking at you Michigan)...nah, let's focus on getting college athletes (who are already receiving a degree at free or reduced costs) paid.

I say let each athlete do the best deal they can with whomever they can and not worry about it. If some lady volleyball player at USC can sign a Nike deal for big bucks so be it
