Was Warrensburg going to join the new league with Smith-Cotton, Helias, Capital City, Jefferson City, Rock Bridge, Battle, and Hickman? Had heard that but was curious if it were true. Thanks for reply.

Looking at the map, maybe not. 1:41 to get to Jeff City. A lot closer to MRVC opponents.
BO is too small but Hannibal would be a good competitive fit. I don't think they want to leave the NCMC though. They enjoy being the big kid on the block.
They both should be similar to Smith-Cotton/Camdenton/Waynesville/Rolla size when fully going.

Yeah they probably will for the most part, some years will be better than others, but not anymore than Hickman will. Smith-Cotten beat Hickman twice last season and gave Battle a pretty good game, Battle pulled away in the 4th beating Smith-Cotten 39-22.
I feel like this will help Smith-Cotton. They are making a legit effort to improve and play stronger comp will help. Also helps that Jeff and Helias are not what they used to be and Hickman and Rockbridge are always up and down. I’m sure Battle will soon fall into that.
Also look for 4th school in Columbia. They are current building another middle school. Probably why they didn’t find an 8th school.
