MSHSAA recently posted enrollment numbers which they will use for the next 2-year cycle. Some interesting changes may occur.

Pacific, St. Dominic, and U City may drop down to class 3, since current class 3 teams Liberty North, Platte County, and Imagine College Prep now have higher enrollments than them.

Also, Lutheran North, Holden, Mountain Grave, and Bowling Green may drop to class 2, as current class 2 teams Orchard Farm, California, Springfield Catholic, and Versailles have all surpassed them in enrollment.

This is all speculation based on the enrollment numbers. We won't know for sure until the end of August (even though MSHSAA already listed the new enrollment breaks for basketball).

So,what is anyone's best guess based upon the schools that do play volleyball..all the other fall sports should be told by now too

Isn't that what was just posted above? All of those schools listed play volleyball, and I'd say those are pretty accurate guesses based on new enrollments. What else are you asking for?

It would be beneficial for scheduling and planning if the state would release VB districts early also. Start season and you don't even know who is in your district.

Coach--I've asked about timing of district releases a couple of times at advisory meetings. The answer I got was registrations for sports are not official until June 1. Also some schools drop programs due to not being able to field teams due to numbers. I know many coaches and ADs have the same concerns as you.
