Im honestly suprised by this. I saw neosho was doing better but i figured carthage would have a fairly easy win.
Neosho looked a lot bigger than Carthage but Carthage handled them well in the first half. Tigers looked wore out in the second and the two long drives that ended empty handed didn't help.
It was a good win for Carthage though I actually expected a higher score and larger margin for Carthage. Not sure if neosho was better than I thought or if Carthage was struggling more than I expected.

Carthage has a good team but they need Derryberry back if they are going to go anywhere in the postseason.
Neosho is fast where they need to be and MASSIVE everywhere else this year (they look imposing just just coming out of the locker room...)
Maybe a better way to word would have been I'm not sure if I didn't give Neosho enough credit or Carthage too much? Maybe a little of both. Carthage was fortunate to escape with the win.

WEBB beat cTOWN with Dberry by 35 NOSHO loses a tight one to cTOWN without Dberry and you see NOSHO beating WEBB. HUH?
I gotta brag on Neosho. My son has been weight training with 5 of them for many months. Now, 2 more have started participating because the desire to win is getting stronger. Those 5 have been busting their butts to get bigger, stronger, faster and it shows--all standing out during games too. They have a lot of heart on that team. A lot.
Agree! Coach Baldwin has done an outstanding job at Neosho! They are fortunate to have him leading their team.
