Just wondering if there is any scuttlebutt on where Mexico, Moberly, Marshall, Kirksville & Hannibal are going conference-wise after the NCMC dissolves after the 25-26 Academic year.

For Hannibal. They’re looking to get in the CMAC. CMAC has it on their agenda when they have their meeting Nov 13th.
For the others Kirksville, Mexico, and Moberly will probably formed they’re own conference with Hallsville and Southern Boone.
Marshall on the other hand I say MRVC West or Independent.
If Hannibal doesn’t get in CMAC, I hope Hannibal make some calls to the North and East to bring back the Tri-State conference they were in back in the 1930’s
Personally I think they will end up in the GAC once Washington leaves, Troy splits and Wright City joins. I think the NCMC dissolving actually helps them get in.

I understand that. I don’t think it happens until Troy splits and Washington leaves. Rumor has it Wentzville is looking to build another HS as well.
Things constantly change. For example the Tri County voted no on Fulton only to add them a few months later.
Whatever happens I hope Hannibal try to get in a conference by 2026. Right now it’s look like Hannibal trying join CMAC but the Travel to both Camdenton and Smith-Cotton will be outrageous. Only way I see Hannibal Joining CMAC if CMAC decides to go to split in to 2 divisions and bring in another 3 or 4 Schools.

They wouldnt. I think the Tri-County is strong as it has been. And adding Fulton will be good. Blair Oaks is def crram of the crop but the other schools have shown success.
Southern Boone would get their teeth kicked in every single week if they did this. They are a fringe top ten class 3 school most years so it would be very rough for them
There's no chance these sized schools are added to the CCC. There's a slightly better chance a couple CCC schools would leave to join them in a new conference. I just don’t see it happening. The size disparity is too great.
Cards is right. Why would some of those CCC want to move?
You want to send shockwaves across Mid Missouri? Mess with Tri County Conference. Southern Boone and Boonville will gladly leave Tri County but not for harder opponents but instead to get out of Blair Oaks shadow every year. It has gotten bad. Southern Boone supposively injured intentionally Dapkus and Lackman of Blair Oaks (Dapkus transfered from Southern Boone). California is struggling, Eldon is not much better. They would love for Blair Oaks to go CMAC or for them to get just a different element of rivalry but of course I don't see any of this happening.

Blair Oaks to CMAC will never happened but I did some Cal Prep projections Blair oaks vs CMAC teams and the outcome was a little surprising to me.
I can tell you there are schools not happy. one in particular is very unhappy.
The NCMC was dissolved for one reason, school are interested but Hannibal was a problem. This way schools can now go there separate ways with kicking anyone out. By this time next year there is there will be a new conference and 2 others trying to figure things out.
Blair Oaks would do fine in CMAC. They play upper tier opponents all the time. CMAC would not be a problem for them in most sports
Moberly, Mexico and Kirksville will stay together and try to pick up at least a couple of other schools.
Macon and Centralia have been most frequently mentioned and would be good fits geographically, but nothing is definite with them yet. Hallsville has been mentioned less frequently and not likely by themselves, but would be a good possibility if the expansion includes Centralia because Hallsville would like to cement that rivalry. Fulton returning to the NCMC was also mentioned in passing and they may be interested now that Hannibal is gone, but that seems less likely. Marshall is the odd-man out. I think they would be welcome in the new NCMC, but they’ll probably gravitate west.

Just seeing everybody output. I honestly don’t see Centralia and Macon leaving CCC. I think they was the 2 Rumor that NCMC was trying to get was both Centralia and Macon but they love the conference they’re in.

This is similar to to what I have been told other than Fulton. I can tell you the other NCMC schools are not happy with them as they had recommitted to the conference after being rejected but the Tri only to leave a few months later.
This wouldn't be bad and I feel the tri-county should be all over this
Not sure about Dapkus and Lackman injuries, but the hit on Bax (QB) looked very bad. The defensive lineman looked to intentionally head butt Bax under the chin with the crown of the helmet way after the hand off was made to the RB. Bax was not carrying out a fake or anything, rather just standing and watching the play. If that was not targeting, not sure what targeting would be. Will be interesting in a few weeks if the two teams meet up again in the semi-finals.
I think Macon will win that one, but I am generally wrong.
yes intentionally. well known rumor flying around between BO and SB school students and families.
I would need for it to be more than a rumor to believe it was truly on purpose. Not saying that stuff never happens, but I am familiar with some of the coaching at SB and if they become aware of this, it would be bad for that athlete

If I were a Camdenton coach and this gets approved, I might think about retirement. That bus ride would be awful. Think about a Monday night trip for girls hoops. Woof.
no i wasnt there, yes I helped produce the film. no this comment talk between all of the BO families and students.
These are injuries to 3 BO players no SB players. This all goes back to 1 player who transferred from SB to BO last year which people at SB took quite personally.
If a statement came out from SB wishing the best of luck or sympathy for the injuries to the 3 BO players I would have seen it (there has yet to be 1).
These 2 teams will likely see each other again in the playoffs on November 15, this time at BO. The game mentioned above was the final regular season game played at SB.
