NBC virologist test negative 4 times but they still say he has Covid 19?

I guess if you are sick with a bacterial lung infection and they test with different test but test negative on all 4 you still have covid in this day and age. So on the flip side if the test are this unreliable why are test so important if the doctors can just say hey you have covid no matter what the test say.

After visiting the emergency room, he was admitted to Tulane Medical Center because of a bacterial lung infection, which caused his shortness of breath. He received four tests for COVID-19, all of which were negative, but doctors told him that they had no doubt that's what he had.

Fair said that a plausible explanation for his negative tests was that "the virus itself has passed out of my system, but my system is still responding to the damage that the virus did."

He never tested positive Duck and it has been less than 15 days. You know people use to get sick all the time before covid and doctors use to try to find out what caused it. This goes against everthing we know about Covid is what I am saying. I hope if I get sick they just don't say he has covid....

It's almost like so many people are avoiding the hospital these days it is impacting their bottom line and the only way to receive federal funding is if patients have WuFlu...even if it's really just a bacterial infection or seasonal allergies. It won't shock me if we see some WuFlu induced broken bones in the ER...

Well most People who have C19 still shed the virus even after they recover....maybe he is a weird character and goes against the Norm and just stopped....but the more likely he never had C19 and has a actual normal Lung infection.

Duck I don't know what it proves...besides maybe right now many are scared and are blaming everything on Covid...Not everything has to be political does it can we just look at a case and take pause for a minute and say wait what....

It brings a lot more questions. Is it nothing related to covid 19? Are the tests just not strong enough to catch every instance? Are they poorly made tests? Is it a new strain the new test doesn't indicate. Until they figure out what bacteria it is no one can say for certain what it was and everyone needs to slow down before making a definitive diagnosis.
