Quit being greedy and putting people court side for high dollars. Move the fans back away from today's players that can not take getting yelled at by fans. You see players getting into it with fans just about every game now days. It is crazy to see fans sitting at the scorers table and teams bench way past the baseline.

I don’t know if you’re paying attention, but the NBA loves the drama. Players complain, and that just engages the fans even more. The NBA is largely built around the drama as it is the on court product.

I’m all for the NBA instituting rules of decorum for those sitting courtside, but there have been fans on top of the players in the NBA since the beginning. Go look at the old Laker games in the 1980s. Remember Spike Lee and Reggie Miller trash talking each other in the middle of games in the 90s.

Everyone of these guys also grew up playing AAU basketball tournaments where the fans are on the actual court half the game. They’re used to it.

Problem isn’t where everyone is sitting. The problem is the players who have spent their whole lives being praised and adored being overly sensitive to criticism.

I was going to say. Your getting played to play a game, if you can't handle being hollered at get out of here.

...start playing defense and going for offensive rebounds. I was appalled at the game I saw this year. Every college team I'm watching in the tournament would beat them with their lack of intensity in the regular season. You can't play at half speed like that in the NFL. Sickening that they play completely different come April and yet they are making millions. They need to tie their pay to holding teams to a certain amount of points something to incentive a quality basketball game.

Not everyone did. Otto Porter Jr did not play on the teams. Dad would not let him.

Here’s a challenge since you think Otto Porter proves a point:

How many American born NBA players do you think there are who opted not to play competitive summer basketball during their high school career in the last ten years?

I’ll bet, judging by your post, you have no idea.

And, I’m quite certain you have no idea how many of the nearly 3,000 American born scholarship players who were signed as high school seniors on D1 rosters did not play competitive summer basketball during their high school career.

Just because Neil Armstrong was a person and walked on the moon does not mean all persons are astronauts. The Otto Porter example as something that proves a larger point is uniformed claptrap.

Pretty sure the comment was everyone of these players played summer ball and the response was no Otto Porter didn't so actually it does prove a point. Most American players do play summer ball and most D1 signees do play summer ball, but everyone does not and that was all that was said.

Well when they are paid to play, does that not take away the A out of AAU?
