District 6: Monroe City ( this is my pick for now, but i don't count out Palmyra yet)

District 4: Hannibal ( this is my sleeper pick for a long run in the playoffs. It's the head coach final year and I have like his play calling this year.

District 7: Lincoln College Prep

District 8: Kearney ( I'm going to have alot of haters after this one but right now I Smithville looks good on papers but they really haven't play a strong team yet but i don't count them out at all)

Maybe c4d6 wasnt so weak after all last year. West Plains and Camdenton may win their new districts this year. With CJ way down, d6 will be a cakewalk for Webb this year.

Knob Noster/Lexington has the potential to be a very interesting matchup this week in Class 2.

I couldn’t even predict a winner in this one after last week.

And Knob Noster was my sleeper team that I picked 2 weeks ago, not saying they’ll make a deep run, given how strong Class 2 is, but I would say definitely going to have unexpected results.

I agree. Class 1 is quite down this year. I mean hell, even Penney(Hamilton) is having an off year so to speak from their usual.

I’m interested to see what happens with Jackson in Class 5 after this past week.

Also Kennett in Class 3 took out North County, which I expected them to, but will be paying close attention to them though. I believe Kennett is Class 3 at least?

West Plains looks solid on film. I think that game (if both teams win districts) between them and Ladue will be great. I see WP has blown out all of their opponents and so has Ladue minus SLUH (14-6). Do you know how good they really are?

Ladue shouldn't have any problem in their districts and will come into the playoffs having playing Pattonville and Kirkwood who are both good Class 6 schools.

I wouldn't consider them a darkhorse. Like their path, avoiding the Westran/Hayti/Valle/Thayer side of the bracket. However, Marceline Quarterfinal would be a really good game IMO.

I agree. Both have pretty much everything you want. Size, speed, and IQ.
