Billy webber's kids did it again. Those Thayer boys are wiry n tuff, no quit. Coach Webber does heck of a job. Congrats to PC on an excellent season.Tonight, Valle looked like they are primed again.
They are not in my region but that score is an eye opener.Tonight, Valle looked like they are primed again.
In another thread they said Valle's QB was out with the same knee injury he had earlier on in the season.I don’t think Mid Buc can beat Thayer, haven’t seen Valle but I know they are always tough!
Thanks! Injuries can and will change seasons especially in the smaller classes.I believe Mid Buc's main running back was hurt. Only played a few select plays.
Agreed Top, I don't see Valley getting passed Thayer if their QB isn't healthyThanks! Injuries can and will change seasons especially in the smaller classes.
You obviously haven’t seen their freshman backup quarterback.
What do you mean? Isn't Valle a private school? They should have a D1 prospect waiting in the wings." : )All 140 pounds of him!
The Bloomsdale recruiter is doing a good job! I hear the Fallert kid has some younger brothers! It warms my heart to see the freshman class have 42 students. What do you mean? Isn't Valle a private school? They should have a D1 prospect waiting in the wings." : )
h'mmm I was wondering about that Bistate bus on the parking lot during the game! I heard it was Swatamaga, Oberle dog, and Knaeflies! Going to enjoy some before the game on Saturday.Fallert? That sounds like a St. Louis name to me. Bet they send up a shuttle to commute him South every school day. Bet they pump him full of liver dumplings too!
Ste. Genevieve County is a big county. Some kids probably travel more than 14 miles to school in Ste. Genevieve.Bloomsdale is 14 miles away, that’s a mighty big geographical area for a class one school to draw from.........
We can joke about the small towns in the county and them sending students on to Valle, but the fact is that St. Mary, Ozora, River aux Vases no longer have grade schools in their parishes. Not sure about Weingarten. Zell probably doesn't have 50 kids in all 8 grades. Bloomsdale still has a decent number, maybe 20 in the last 8th grade class? Maybe grade school kids are all going to Ste. Genevieve Parochial School? If kids don't go to a Catholic grade school, it is unlikely that they will choose Valle over Ste. Gen. which has become a really good school. I hope that Valle's freshman class is not an anomaly, but becomes a standard going forward.Let's not forget the other football hot beds of Zell, Ozora, and if Valle does some heavy recruiting..St. Mary's.
