Pure Swing and others, why do you hate a successful basketball program like Kansas? We must remember, Bill Self applied for the Missouri basketball position but passed on hiring one of the most successful college basketball ever.

Why? It's Kansas! It has nothing to do with the Kansas team being successful. I hate all things Kansas, I hate the Kansas football team and they suck. I hate Self, Phog Allen(who calls their kid Phog?) Dick Harp, Ted Owens, Larry Brown, Roy Williams, anyone who ever played for Kansas, anyone who supports Kansas. I hate it when I have to drive through Kansas. Like Norm Stewart, I won't spend money in Kansas.
I hate the Jayhawk nickname and I hate the colors Crimson and Blue. These are just a few of the reasons. I hope this helps.

Pure Swing, I get it on your hate for Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks. Could you explain why you like the Missouri Tigers football and Basketball program?

I have worked summer basketball camps with Ted Owens, Roy Williams and attended camps with Bill Self. They were very good @ having basketball camps. They would walk around making sure the camp coaches were on their feet and giving instructions. I believe this was passed down from the ted Owens and Larry Brown days I have seen a camp coach sitting in a chair during instructional drills when Roy Williams fired him on the spot, gave him $ 350.00 and told him to go home, we don't need you here.

I have also attended summer camps @ Missouri. Two of the last three head basketball @ Missouri was not on campus during some of these camps. The above had a big impression on me on summer camps @ both universities. The edge goes to Kansas on summer camps. Kim Anderson and Coach Martin were not involved in the above summer camps.

I support the Missouri Tiger football and basketball teams because their not from Kansas.

On paper the Missouri Tiger can be good but the new additions must prove themselves. The potential is there for a very good season. Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks could school the Tigers this weekend if the Tigers can not contain the Jayhawk guards.
