How can you not have district playoff schedule posted yet? I get there maybe a Saturday game or two this week, but they could post those districts that are complete.

Maybe they didn’t want to stay up all night working on something when it’s not a critical thing????

Schools are given a set time to contact MSHSAA and notify them that they defeated a team one spot ahead of them in the district standings which allows them to switch places. No need to post a bracket with incomplete information.

The year it was an issue for my school it seems like it was noon on Saturday. But it’s been a 3-4 years ago now.

All I know is our work computers (YES our work computers and internet were working) would connect to any website except MSHSAA. I tried several times over a two hour period, then tried one more time around 1:30-1:45am before leaving for home and viola, it worked. Maybe everyone else logged off and went to bed, I Dunno.

It was down. My internet was flying but returned an error message when I went to Mshsaa.org

My guess, MSHSAA doesn’t have the bandwidth to support the traffic.

Of course it was - standard operating procedure for MSHSAA when their data is needed.

Part of this falls on the host AD's who don't take the time to go in and enter their game information. There were MULTIPLE emails sent out for hosts to enter their information yet there were calls/emails/texts going out at midnight asking people to send info in so that official assignments could be made on Sunday morning.

They probably tried to enter their information, but the website was crashing.

Sounds feasible, but I was referring to the site locking up whenever there’s a high volume of people trying to get data.

Sounds like you MO boys need to learn a thing or two about website maintenance!
