Question for you all. Do you have to purchase each game to watch them all at 10/per game? Thanks for the information? 30 bucks a day to watch the stream?

It's truly a damn shame that anyone has to pay anything to watch these games from their home...I've seen other states broadcast like on Bally Sports Midwest or North or whatever..but nope not Missouri!!!!! Used to I believe, I'm sure MSHSAA lost money somehow and that was that.

There has been a Big 8 school play for a state championship in 13 of the past 15 years. They have played in 17 championship games in that same time frame. The 2 years they did not play for a title 2010 and 2018 they had 2 teams in the semi finals. That is pretty impressive.

Take Webb City and Lamar out of the equation and what are the years?

There's free TV coverage down here, but the production value is incredibly low. No score/down and distance graphics. Sound quality is poor. The populace is in a bigger thither that Missouri if you can believe that. MSHSAA and MHSAA have a lot in common.

I don’t think MSHSAA.tv’s servers are up to the task…

Trying out my access on the 8-man game and I can’t even keep from buffering on my work internet… (and I work at an internet-based software company 😬)

I'm not sure why people give those charlatans a dime. They gonna screw this up too.

I’m using mobile data on my iPad and haven’t really had any issues other than some minor buffering.

Which I think will turn into major buffering tomorrow.

Stream and overall broadcast working without any issues for me. Only complaint is that broadcast didn’t start until 7pm when Archie was already lined up for opening kickoff. Not five seconds of any kind of pre-game. Probably wise that I hit refresh at 6:59 and then again at 7pm.

When I lived in Georgia, they showed all state championship football and basketball games on PBS for free. Had pregame and post-game shows for each game.

It's a great conference for Class 2 Lamar. Prepares them well for the post season. As a Class 3/4 conference, it's good. But I'm not sure it's any better than the MRVC West (Oak Grove, Odessa, Center, Pleasant Hill, Harrisonville). The MEC has had several recent Class 2/3 title appearances/wins, too (Maryville, St. Pius, not so fast Chillicothe), although it is usually pretty top heavy these days.

Lamar by three scores (another state title for the Tigers in a year they didn’t even win their conference 🤣)
I would attribute a great deal of their success to that. Some teams have to travel to get good competition, even out of state. They don't. And some refuse to, and wonder why they do jack squat in the post season. Every Class 2 team would improve by playing in a solid Class 3/4 conference. Even if it means taking 1 or 2 on the chin sometimes. Applies to all classes.

Being the smallest in the conference, and seeing some of the postseason success of other teams in the big 8? It’s a very impressive regular season for the tigers. Not sure many know, but Lamar didn’t have their starting QB or backup QB/RB for most of the year. For a lot of small schools? That would equate to a few loses at least. We still played Seneca well given the circumstances, and only lost a game. I’ll take a (hopeful) state title over the big 8 title any day of the week.
