Please explain why MSHSAA choose not to televise the games with Fox Sports?. I realize we could pay on line, use a computer which some may not have access to, its the almighty dollar. Hopefully they will change things next year.

I personally hated it being on fox. All of the TV timeouts changed the game to much for the teams, and the fans watching it live. I don't think the announcers for the Internet broadcasts are worth a hoot though either. The camera work is a little sketchy as well.

Same commentators as they had when fox midwest aired it. Didn't like the commercial breaks where you miss several plays. Since we paid for it, should not have been commercial breaks while the game was being played!

Fox isn't the only vendor that can broadcast Live Missouri Sports. MSHSAA suks.
The St. Louis Post had an article explaining that there was a 3rd party involved and they could not come to an equitable agreement. Made it sound more complicated than just FSM and MSHSAA not being able to agree.

It would be interesting to see the numbers - both PPV and actual attendance. I would think they lost quite a bit of overall viewership simply because of the lack of a 'DVR' type option on the busy holiday weekend. I know this will be the first time in 6 years I haven't seen at least one of the final games.

We paid for it and had a watch party. Couldnt get there this year. I just know that a lot more watched it on Fox when they showed it. I had quite a few people messaging me wanting to know what channel. I am sure they did not pay to watch it on a computer. We linked it to our big screen so we were fine except the stream was piss poor. We have become accustomed to having to watch online with D2 football...but it does stink.

Are they going to all become available online on mshsaa site at some point? I don't know how long it will take before they make it available to the public

My understanding is the replay is available for like 2 weeks, but you still have to pay to watch it. Nothing is free with MSHSAA.

Funny you should say that since one of the broadcasters of the Webb City game was a Cardinal alumnus.
And the color guy runs a football website in Kansas City that has plenty of knowledge on Kearney. I listened to the broadcast. I thought it was just fine. People want to complain that it wasn't on TV, this is just another way of doing that.
