Tried to watch Lockwood vs. Golden City tonight an it was a horrible failure. Whose running the show at MSHSAA.

They could have simply assessed a fee to any postseason broadcaster, who would have either passed it on to advertisers or not broadcast the contest. It could have been the responsibility of the district host to communicate the fee to the broadcaster, and enforce if necessary.

Then, if the broadcast doesn’t work, that is purely on the broadcaster just like any game.

I really don’t understand the point of forcing everyone through the current system.

How about the last decision made, without a vote from member districts, that made much sense? I'll hang up and listen. Gotta be one of the most poorly run organizations ever.

It is ridiculous that it costs more to watch a game online than it does to see the game in person. And the last two times I have used the system I have had issues.

paid $10.60 to watch Cassville 2 Reeds Spring. Two HS kids doing the broadcast...no lineups, no scoring summaries...it is all RS.
The video is not bad though.

The sad thing is, it is being broadcast by the same people using the same camera that showed every game for free this year on youtube. The only difference is instead of clicking a free youtube link, you click a $10 link.

All I know if Mshssa approved this, then it’s their problem. Missouri Basketball is something to be proud of. Charging a fee for a half ass video is not my idea of giving the fans what they deserve. Surely we can do better.
