I was informed today like many other teachers across the state that my position is being eliminated for budget reasons. I am currently teaching at the Ray-Pec alternative high school and coaching at Hickman Mills. I had been thinking for sometime about moving back to the Springfield area where I am from and now it looks like a reality. If anyone has any information about possible openings anywhere around the Springfield area for next year I am open for suggestions. I am certified in social studies 9-12 and I am going to get certified in middle school social studies and business. I am also going to finish my Masters Degree this summer in Educational Technology.
