Mount Vernon vs CR

I don't know much about MV. I know CR is fast, but hasn't played that tough of a schedule. Any info on MV?

Big 8 team. If they win back to back class 3 representatives in the championship game. Physical and can pass and run the ball fairly well. The mountaineers are definitely a pass happy team.

From what I understand,CR hasn't been smacked in the mouth much, so it will be interesting to see how they respond to playing a team like MV.

Here is some video of CR playing St. Marys earlier this season. Not a whole lot out there other than this.

Any video of MV out there on the interwebs?

And lets not forget about the lack of fashion...

3 Division 1 Receivers...they have a Freshman who got an offer from Mizzou about a month ago, as well as a D1 Quarterback. Also have two D1 Defensive Backs to cover the spread.

Seems fair....like most class 3 teams

Its gonna be 60 degrees Saturday. As in very good weather for a team with 2 four Star WRs and a Mizzou offered QB. A domestic cat would also have a chance with a grizzly bear.

Did I say they would win? Lol CR clearly has the advantage. Why are you STL guys so hostile lol settle down.

They have a lot of money invested in these all star teams, You don't throw that much money at an investment and be happy with runner up.

LOL easily the most hilarious thing this Board does is pretend that STL football is SMU in the 80’s. Reality is that its a city overflowing with talent so you’re bound to have a couple of teams like this. Plus Ritter is very finesse. So who knows

If Mount Vernon can run the ball and control the clock, they have a chance to win this game. If their line play is better than Cardinal Ritter's, then they can have a great chance. The only weakness I see in Ritter is the O and D Lines, I think you can line up and pound them. Is Mount Vernon up to the task?

They have ran well all year.

As much as I want to see an all STL Final, my thoughts all year on Cardinal Ritter is that if they play a team that can control the ball and the clock, they would be in trouble because of their lack of lineman. They have all the skill kids in the world, but I am not sure if the line can hold up. So if Mount Vernon can ground and pound, then they will have a good chance to win the game. Difference between them and Trinity is the line play by Trinity.

Ritter’s OL/DL isn’t small. They go about 6’2” and 270 across the board and rotate 7-8 guys. Not the monsters CBC has, or even Trinity, but they aren’t pip squeaks.
