If he can't find the 3-5 MPH he lost he's done as a major league quality pitcher.

He didn't get better as the year went on, which is a bit concerning.

He's not a bad flyer for a team to take. Cubs have the $$$ so why not. I wouldn't have paid this much without getting an option for a second year - do we know if the deal has a team option?
