Moss has hit Happ well in previous seasons.
However, they say Happ is a different pitcher now. At bat number one the traditional warning track shot by Moss. Maybe he will get a dinger tonight and we can all say Matheny is a genius.

Grichuk hit a line drive as a pinch hitter. I wonder what he would have done with four at bats? We will never know.

That was in a different life for both of them. Happ has been VERY good after his 1st start as a Pirate.

Moss has goofy reverse splits this year...but with Holliday, Piscotty (pre collision obvi), Heyward, Grichuck, and Pham all available for 1B/OF duty...it's a bit curious why Moss would get the nod. Gotta figure, at the very least, Piscotty is the 1Bman the rest of the way against lefties (again, pre collision). So why Moss gets a start there is weird.
