Out of curiosity went over there today. Last post was over 2 months ago. Kinda sad. Bill and I didn't really see eye to eye but you can't deny he put his heart and soul into his work here. I sure do miss the database he developed going back to the 2002 season. Used it many times for deep dive projects like when the district points system was in the planning stages.

One plus imo is no moderation here. Saying that, it's encouraging the site has maintained a level of civility in its absence.

I was sure with On3 starting up Rivals wouldn't last long. It still might fold as they continue to snag big sites out from under Rivals, but that pace has slowed down considerably and Rivals has been quick to replace them as best they can. As one who took advantage of On3's initial one year cheap offer I can say they aren't up to Rivals level as far as message boards are concerned. Content creation is another story however in both recruiting and general college football information. Rivals has had to lay off a ton of their National staff with far less revenue coming in. They are lucky that there's a core group of people who have connected and refuse to leave in spite of having to pay $10/month for the privilege.

Anyway, it's good to be back and good to see some familiar posters still doing their thing. I missed it.

I remember starting the "Doc Guys.....Forever" thread over there. Just in case it took off! I just went over there and the site is still NOT secure!!

I don't think they've posted any feature articles since February, either. I have peeked at it a time or two this season.............

There is some moderation.

Some guy keeps trying to get back onto poliboard wasteland and gets his account 86'd almost instantly.

It is better than it was though.

Good now don't you have an Aryan meeting to go to up there in Utah, or whatever white supremacy state you live in, now? Thanks for stopping by...nothing to see here.

We moved to Mississippi in May. My father isn't doing all that great and wanted to get back closer to both our families. An opportunity for both of us opened up and we snagged it.

Dang man, hope your dad is hanging in there or at least peaceful. I feel like I at least remember you talking about MS. Where abouts are you?

We're just to the west of Tupelo proper. Found a nice place on a private lake fully stocked. It's going to be our end destination. Blessed is an understatement.

Was just up to visit the family a couple of weeks ago. While failing, dad's doing ok all things considered. Still sharp as a tack. Thanks for the concern.
