Everyone around Trump knew his stolen election claims were lies, yet they still went along with the charade. To quote Bill Barr, it's all bullsh*t.
America has had its share of crooks (Warren G. Harding, Richard Nixon), bigots (Andrew Jackson, James Buchanan), and incompetents (Andrew Johnson, George W. Bush). But never before Donald Trump did we have a president who combined all these nefarious qualities.
That was not a good situation at all. Since that happened we should just ignore people conspiring to overturn a national election? What is your point? Just let it go because there were riots elsewhere?
I understand the investigations on Trump for January 6th. But let’s be honest in what the morons trespassing at the capital was doing. The George Floyd protest across several cities did more property damage and was better organized than the January 6th act of trespassing and property damage.
Better organized? They were separate protests all over the country. Doesn't it seem that if you want to compare. There was one riot in DC to take over the government and stop the transfer of power. There were not hundreds of protests across the country. The cost and damage is not a fair comparison unless you want to multiply that one protest by the number of protests after Floyd. But if you are going to do that let's also consider the number of people on the side of treating everyone equally and not that there is still racism versus the Maga protest to keep America great. You know our side vs your side.
Watch tapes of the George Floyd “Protest” on the ground level and watch the January 6th Trespass and Property damages and tell me which look more organized and violent? The January 6th folks looks like buffoons.
The Dem's did ignore the BLM riots and some even cheered it on and bailed out rioters.....Thus many on the Riot feel turnabout is fair play in this day and age.
I thought the Feds where prosecuting a lot of the Rioters? So nobody is letting it go.
And all that has been proved is Trump believes he was cheated, that he has ran his mouth off about it Ad Nauseam and that a bunch of hardcore believers where embolden by the Months of riots on Jan. 6th to act like buffoons without a plan or any organization.
If the Left would be upfront and honest and Say that Trump was a loose cannon who shot is mouth off in a emotional hissy and that played a part in the Jan. 6th riot then a lot of conservatives would agree.
If the Left would say Trump was trying every Political pressure tactic and back channel method to find some legal loophole to stop the certification process in a effort to stop Biden from being duly elected. Then most Conservatives would agree.
But that is not what the Left has done...instead they have Tried to make a case that Trump had a well organized and thought out coup all planned by some Elite Cabal to stop our Republic from continuing forward.
When this so-called Coup was not Weaponized and the Presidents own VP clearly had no intentions of not doing his legal duty then that narrative rings false and stinks of Propaganda and lies. And the More the Left tries to ram that down the Rights throats the bigger and wider the Divide will become.
If that was a planned take over of the Govt to stop the transfer of power, why was it not a Violent blood bath with thousands of armed civilian? And if your statement had even a slight amount of truth to it how was the Capital cleared so fast? If a 120,000 armed and motivated people there on Jan. 6th stormed the capital with the intent to take over the govt. and stop the transfer of power with a well organized plan....do you think that the outcome would of not been achieved?
Think about this there are only around 150,000/200,00 infantry men in the Armed services. Only about 10% of the military fight in combat or 1 in 10 of the U.S. Soldiers are charged with actual combat fighting. Most are support troops. So do you really believe if Trump had some how motivated and weaponized over a 100,000k to overthrow the govt that the stupidity of Jan. 6th is what we would of seen?
See the left can't even be truthful about what went on on Jan 6th. You had a few rioters who wanted to stop the transfer of power but had no plan, no wide scale organization and zero competent leadership. And Trump is only guilty of running off his mouth and being a Dbag who won't accept defeat.
