Love seeing the misery fans voting Vols. All I hear Mizzou fans saying is we’re back, we will compete with Bama this year. We will get a good bowl game. All of that. This is Mizzou. People in mo need to accept it.

All the things that happened at Mizzou just because some Liberal Graduate students got mad at University when they were going have to pay for their own health insurance...

You are an idiot. And the fact that you would say this on Labor Day of all days just demonstrates that even more.

Have your insurance taken away on 14 hours notice when you make $15k per year, and let's see how you react. Or maybe I'm wrong, maybe you would cower in the corner and take the abuse.

And the health insurance was promised in their contracts. They stood up for themselves and I am damn proud of them for doing so.

I wonder how many of the teachers who frequent this board would do nothing if they were told today that some of the benefits in their contracts were going to be thrown out by their employers.

And again, for the idiots not paying attention, graduate students were not the ones demanding that the terms of their contracts be followed. It was graduate student employees, which is fewer than 50% of graduate students at Mizzou.

I meant the grad employees. But I stand by the rest of my statement. They weren't getting heard so they transformed the whole thing into a race issue to get attention.

Again, the graduate employee unionization and the hunger strike were two separate and unrelated events.

Two things can happen at the same time and place without being related. Right now on Earth, a hurricane is getting ready to make landfall in Florida and Brexit is occurring. These are not related events.

Everyone new Tennessee was awful. MU is going to have a long year in the SEC and be a bottom feeder, dining on the income from the Elite’s continued bowl game appearances! See socialism does work!

While they started as separate issues Mr. Bulter merged them. Do you think the football team would of refused to play if protest was just about the health insurance issue. (And I agree with you they got screwed over on Health Insurance stipends). Just disagree on what they did to get heard.

From Mr. Bulter Statement
"His letter referenced incidents of black students being called racist slurs, the sudden removal of graduate student health insurance subsidies in August, MU's cancellation of Planned Parenthood contracts"

JB didn't, nor could he, merge them. Neither JB, nor either of the other two graduate students involved in Concerned Student 1950, were ever involved in any of the graduate student/employee organizations (CGW, FGR, GPC, or GSA). They may have showed up at each others events but there was zero overlap in leadership.

CS1950 was an undergraduate led organization. Only 3 of 10 (or so) of its leadership were graduate students. CS1950 morphed out of the group MU for Mike Brown, which was 100% undergraduate led. MU for Mike Brown existed for a year before the graduate employees lost their health insurance.

Dude, I was there and waist deep in all of it.

Mizzou will be fine. Just stop with the sec chants lol. Alabama chant maybe.
There just isnt that much difference from middle of the pack D1 teams and 1AA teams. Maybe Wyoming will have a good year.

I agree the crap that went on at MU 5/6 years ago lost that school Millions of dollars and I believe did hurt the football program in recruiting and possibly financilly.
