Been looking at the latest pictures on Facebook for the Football field data base.. larger schools in Eastern side of the state..
One question I have is: Is there media coverage over there for Class 4 & 5? Chillicothe had 9 rooms in two floors of our press box and with 2 or three radio stations, coaches, filmers, one or two live video on line sights and sometimes we still are crowded.. Y'alls press boxes look nice, but tiny compared to what some of us require lol.
Other than that, looks good.. lot of newer fields and I like the ones where the bleachers and field sit down in a pit, so you enter at the top of the bleachers. Saves the legs for those that are old like me lol
Thanks for sharing the pics!

That one thing we noticed, lot of the press-boxes looked the same. They were small considering they were big school.

I did want to let people know that my son is starting to load picture on the facebook page. It does take a while to load 52 fields. https://www.facebook.com/pg/MOFootballFields/posts/?ref=notif.

Thanks for checking out the Facebook page. We ask that people share our page. We not only do this to have some quality time with each other but for people that will never get to these places to see what other teams have, or don't have.

I was an AD in SEMO for 10 years and now one in St. Louis for 4. Here is what I can tell you.

In the SEMO area there is considerable media coverage in Class 4/5 and somewhat Class 3. Almost every team has a station covering them and in some cases 2 or more. Add to the growing coaching staffs and filmers required it can be a stretch.
As you transition into Jefferson County the boxes get smaller but so does the media coverage. One station might be doing a regional coverage that covers both teams.

Once you get into St. Louis the boxes get a bit more standard. A multi high school district might have a standard plan at every high school. Media coverage isn't as prominent on the radio side but there is a bit more webcast type stuff. If you hit the perfect storm of media and large coaching staffs people are on the roof or in the bleachers.

Thanks for the explanation! The increasing amount of webcasting people should be taken into account when designing press boxes these days.
