I just wonder why I am a fan sometimes.
Can we bench Jim Sterk then for giving Odom a contract extension.
Bryant has never played with a team completely collapsing around him before, used to playing with ballers at Clemson. He’s trying to over compensate. I hate to say this week one, but I’m not convinced Odom will still be employed tomorrow.

Seriously, everyone plays like dogshizzle in week one. Alabama allowed 30+ to Arkansas last season in mid-season form. I think the Tigers can withstand an early loss to a solid Wyoming team. Or we can overreact and call national champion Kelly Bryant garbáge.

Bryant has made a couple big mistakes, but he’s also the sole reason this team still has a sliver of hope to pull off a comeback.
I think Odom is ordering his staff to burn alll the code books at this point.

Just chucked it into triple coverage on 4th and 11 with the best tight end in the country in single coverage.
He could have checked down to a wide open running back in the middle the last two plays before that. His decision making at times. Have to see if we get better.
Did roundtree get hurt, I don’t know that he played a snap the second half?

If Odom’s teams didn’t come out every single season completely unprepared to play football, I might consider this a reasonable possibility.
I’m also not sure about Rountree. Could be Badie was simply outplaying him tonight. Who knows.
The Mizzou DBs take terrible angles to the ball and suck at tackling. Bryant twice ran out of bounds for 3 or 4 yard losses when he could have thrown the ball away out of bounds. A legit SEC defense doesn’t let freakin Wyoming run all over them.

They never, ever won the Big 12, either. Perhaps need to drop to I-AA and play MO State............
