I'm a Mizzou fan through and through, and I'll be the first to admit they played probably the worst game I've seen in the last few years yesterday.
Hansborough was injured yes, but Witter should have had 100 yd game if the O Line would've opened holes for him.
Mauk did throw two picks, one of them was tipped and not his fault, but I counted at least 4 times that he threw down the field and the WRs dropped the pass, whether wide open or in coverage.
The only positives I saw from the offense was that when given the opportunity, Mauk got out of the pocket and had 4 nice 20+ yd runs and Culkin made the most of his touches on offense, the only player that capatalized on his receptions yesterday.
Defensively.... The secondary didn't make adjustments til the 4th quarter it seemed. Harris at DE played best out of all the D-Line. With that being said...overall the D-Line was disappointing.
Brothers was a beast as usual from the LB position. Without his 16 tackles and 2 INTs, Mizzou would've lost.
They've got UCONN next week so they need to come out and limit their mistakes and take a big step forward from where they're at right now, or it's going to be a long year for Mizzou Nation.
