Not pertaining to basketball directly but the NCAA just handed down penalties for football, baseball and softball programs at Mizzou. It just puts more stressers on recruiting when there is negativity swirling around the institution. If I knew how to do the link thingy, I would do it.
Mizzou is a dumpster fire.

All I can say about the NCAA. They are so angry @ Roy Williams and his North Carolina Tar heels, They decided to penalize the Missouri Tigers programs.
The next question, will Elliott Davis and his Chanel 2 news " You paid for it team " be in Columbia to investigate?
This could be good news for basketball coaches Martin and Porter Sr. The heat could now be placed on the administration @ the University of Missouri. This could take Martin and Porter out of the conversation for few days.

This is an old joke when Jerry Tarkanian was paying players @ Las Vegas. The word @ national basketball clinic across the country were about the below quote.
The quote was, The NCAA is so mad @ Jerry Tarkanian and his Las Vegas team, the NCAA decided to put Cleveland State on probation.
The NCAA knew Tarkanian was cheating but could not nail it down so they got an easy defense less team that could not fight back. TJ, it's only a joke quote.
TJ, I wish you could have been with me @ some of those clinic, some had jokes that last for a lifetime.
I met some good dudes at clinics. Denny Crum sat down next to me at a clinic in St. Louis and started asking me all kinds of questions which led to how is the fishing in Southern Illinois. I remember asking him how he got his guys to rebound so well. He joked, I just yell: Jump you guys! Jump! A little simplistic.
Remember the old joke about Kansas being under the microscope, so Emporia State is going to get hammered?
I agree with my friend Rocket, a few of the administration have been replaced but continue living on the tax payers dime. A couple of years ago according to Elliott Davis @ Fox 2 news there were 23 administrators and fired coaches still getting paid or buy-outs. Elliott showed one dismissed administrator in his new assignment with no duties. He was pulling down $350,000.00 per year. When Elliott ask him about his responsibilities, he replied, They are still trying to find me something to do. Former football coach Gary Pinkel still gets paid. The girls's softball coach was fired but Missouri paid big bucks for his removal.
I reported on basketball coaches Martin making $ 7,384.00 per day and Porter Sr. making $1,300 per day and the Missouri die-hards came after me but I was not convinced that these two men are worth the above with the results we are getting.
I guess to sum it up, the accountability factor @ Missouri is not in play and some of those positions are in the two-three hundreds thousand range. Friends taking care of friends.
There is a big party going on @ Missouri and you, the tax payers are not invited and it's going to continue.
Good game to grow on tonight. It will be nice when they get Smith back from that high ankle sprain, though Watson hit a couple outside shots tonight. He is growing as a player.
