This could be an entertaining game with Bob Huggins and coach Cuonzo Martin working the side lines. Missouri appears to be playing much better with Geist and Phillips @ the point. Barnett, Puryear, Geist, Phillips and VanLeer appear to be positive influence on the new recruits by Cuonzo.
Robertson, Tilmon and the unbelievable Jontay Porter are playing better and will be needed tonight to be in the game.

This will be the first ranked team for the Tigers this year. This will be an opportunity for Cuonzo and his team to jump into the ranking and meet the high expectations by the Missouri fans. I've gotta admit the mild mannered Bob Huggins has West Virginia where the Missouri Tigers would like to be.

I would not bet the game because 8 points is not enough unless freshman Jantay Porter comes to play.

If Mizzou plays this team an 8 point game that would be amazing. West Virginia will lock
down on def. like we haven't seen. Their point guard is the best in college basketball. If we
shoot the ball well we will compete if we don't we will get beat bad. I really like how MIZZOU
is coming together and will finish over 500 I hope. NIT bid would be incredible.

Big game for Mizzou. They are starting over since all their preseason work was with M. Porter being the focus on offense. Probably a week behind the rest of the nation as far as combinations go. They have looked good this week, but I think it's too soon for an opponent the caliber of WV. West Virginia 82- Mizzou 64. Go Mizzou!

Played very tough, but in the end they couldn't put the game away. Refs didn't help but they looked overwhelmed at times.

Who is Jantay Porter? I mean, seriously, you follow Mizzou Basketball and don't even know the best player's name?

They just had that bad stretch with phillips and Geist turning it over. We will be inconsistent, but we will probably win some games that surprise people and lose some frustrating matchups (particularly on the road)

Kodos to West Virginia in adjusting to our attack with the 1-3-1 and trapping in the press. It sure messed us up.

and that game was totally over-officiated. Woof. What a mess for both teams.
