Former Baker University coach Charlie Richard and a member of the college football hall of fame was at Moberly in the early 70s.

Dennis Franchione Miller High School Head Coach from 1973 to 1974. Had stints at Pitt State, New Mexico, TCU, Alabama, Texas A&M and the last I saw was Texas State. Was not a Missouri High School grad, but did coach at one before making the move up.

Andy Hill. Coached with Sam Pittman at Trenton I believe. Sam is mentioned above. Andy has remained at Mizzou through several head coaching changes.

Chuck Broyles - Head Coach Stockton High School in 1973 - Coached college at (now Missouri S&T) and at Pittsburg State University where he was one of the most successful coaches of all time.

Dr. Norris Patterson amassed an impressive 134-33-10 record as head coach of the William Jewell College Cardinals during his 18 year tenure. Under his leadership, the Cardinals won 13 conference titles and finished as runner-up five times. The late Dr. Patterson is also a member of the NAIA, NACDA Athletic Directors, Missouri Valley College and William Jewell College Halls of Fame. The William Jewell College football field, Patterson Field, is named in his honor.

He also recruited and coached a guy you might have heard of that is the head coach at K-State...Snyder, I think, is his name...

He was a high school coach at Excelsior Springs, with MRVC Champs and an undefeated team there:

MRVC Champs; (Three years: 26-2-1 record)

47 - Excelsior Springs
48 - Excelsior Springs
49 - Excelsior Springs

Chuck Lambert coached Lockwood to a couple district titles and a state 2nd place.
He has been at Sterling College in Kansas for 11 or 12 years as D Coordinator until this season as Head Coach. Sterling was an annual doormat before then and has now made NAIA playoffs twice (including this year) while finishing no worse than 3rd in conference play over that span.

Jim Gladden:

Pleasant Hill High School (Pleasant Hill, MO) — Assistant Coach (1962-63)
NW St. Louis High School (St. Louis, MO) — (1964-66)
Paducah-Tilghmam High School (Paducah, KY) — Defensive Coordinator (1967-69)
Russellville High School, KY — Head Coach (1970-71)
Springfield High School (Springfield, TN) — Head Coach (1972)
Hernando High School (Brooksville, FL) — Head Coach (1972-74)
Florida State — Graduate Assistant (1975); Outside Linebackers (1976-1995); Defensive Ends (1996-2002)

So Broyles and Franchione squared off at Stockton and Miller in 1973?

Rube Berry If memory serves me right I think he started in Aurora, but this article says he started elsewhere...I know he ended up at Willard before he passed.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rueben_Berry

Rube was at Pierce City in 1959 and Mt. Vernon 1960-1962. His first college job was as assistant at Fort Scott (Ks) Community College then went to Sterling (Ks) College as head coach and a 3 month stay back at Fort Scott as head coach (left before season started) before going to now Southwest Missouri State as a assistant 66-68. Missouri Southern head coach 69-70 the to NEO A&M in 71 as assistant and head 72-76. Not sure about any other pro jobs other than one listed in article. It leaves out a lot of years 77-82 and 85-86 I haven't found any info on. Supposedly not coaching at in in 85 and 86 before taking Willard job 89-96.
