After 26 years of working HS basketball I worked my last game two weeks ago in Springfield(probably much to the delight of coaches and players).

Rumor has it that Lee Richardson from Lesterville has been released of his duties after 3 years. Inherited a team that went 2-20, 5-18 and 15-12. Won the AV thanksgiving tourney this year for the first time in 50+ years. Seem to have the program headed in the right direction. Not sure what happened to have him released of his duties after the 1st winning season since 2011/12 season. Seems like a brash board and parents ran off a coach after the first winning season in years.


Good luck to any coach that steps into this mess!
