Miller/Pierce City updates

Just before half, Pc intercepted Miller at Millers 16. Miller held on 4 plays inside the 3 then ran off the last 24 seconds.
Miller players shook the hands of all the veterans in attendance at half while the choir sang God Bless America. Pickups backed up to to field all around. Best of Friday night in small town USA here.

I don't know how good these teams are but I said before the game that i've seen a LOT of Valle and Thayer state finals teams and Pierce City was the best "looking" team in class 1 team i've ever seen (eye test).
Fun hard hitting game. Congrats to PC.
Hope Clay Allen is OK (fear not). Don't know how Miller line held up without him, he's been special this year.
Would be curious to know what everyone thought of the officiating. LOTS of flags. Not sure there were near as many violations as flags. Had a real hard time walking off penalties and i'm pretty sure PC got 15 yards for holding (from spot) once.

PC won on last play of the game with no time outs left ball on the 1 foot line and 2.4 seconds left in the game.

I guess that is the way a 3 rank team and a 8th rank team should finish...
miller held PC on several 4th downs and PC held Miller out of the end zone for 3 quarters.. hope Miller gets a chance to play them again..

Maybe to the rematch. At least if it happens it will be at Keebaugh Stadium.
Beating Thayer on the road has proved easier than winning in PC, but probably not this year..

This might be the dumbest thing I’ve ever read on here.
I think he was just meaning they seem to have a bunch of 6’ 180lb kids. This was the first time all year I thought we looked like the smaller team. I thought PC def was one of the best I’ve seen in years. They fly to the football. I don’t think Miller had consecutive first downs all night. I was surprised we didn’t run our RB more. He seemed to have less than 15 carries the whole game. I think we could of 3 and four yarded them to death but showed no patience.
Yep. I thought Miller was as big size wise as i've seen at class one but PC made us look small, had good numbers with size, and you could see the athleticism. I am not in any way saying they are the best class 1 team i've seen.
I think Miller could change the result in the probable rematch but Miller played as well as i've seen them play in several years. That blocked punt really hurt and a couple missed tackles on the last drive were killers.
You need to get your eyes checked if you think PC is the “best looking” class 1 team you’ve ever seen. Many valle and Thayer teams that were much bigger and more athletic. There were a even a few PC teams and miller teams that looked better from 07-12 that looked better and were better teams. I was at the game and i will give PC defense a lot of credit. They did swarm to the ball very well.
