Congrats to Blue Eye. They outplayed Miller in every way. Miller couldn't hit the broad side of a barn tonight. Blue Eye hit 12-14 3's on about 20 attempts. I hope they go on and win it all.

It didn't help. Who wouldn't want a couple of 6'1 girls. Wouldn't of helped tonight though. Miller had only allowed 2 teams to score over 40 points all year. Hats off to Blue Eye. They were on 🔥 all night. If I had to guess 13-18 from 3.

I get Blue Eye hit a lot of 3s but they only had 22 points at halftime. Normally you would be ahead at half if your opponent had 22 points.

Not if you were 0-7 from 3 and 3-10 at the line and only had 2 made FG's.

Blue Eye had 12 3s on the night. But they won with as much defense as anything. They never let Miller get going at all. Miller really had trouble shooting. They hit one of their first 6 free throws. They didn't have a field goal until mid-late second quarter. It was a lot different game than the 31-27 Blue Eye win back in December.

I agree. I didn't see the game but it seems that Blue Eye won with defense. Also, 3 point defense is somewhat based on luck. If the other team has multiple players hitting you can't really defend the entire court.

Almost all of Blue Eye's 3's were from the corners. They found the weak spot in Miller's zone and exploited it all night long. And they didn't let Hadlock get anything on the other end.

It was a perfect storm of one team being about as on as they could be and the other team being as off as they could be.

I think most people were shocked by the outcome. Not that Blue Eye won. I think a good number thought that would happen. But the margin was really shocking. Once the Lady Bulldogs started to pull away, it changed what Miller likes to do. Still another good season for the Lady Cardinals. Blue Eye's hopes of a third consecutive Final Four are still alive.
