We have a GREAT opener in Liberty MO one week from Friday as the aforementioned Blair Oaks faces Maryville. I'm likely going to Harrisonville but very tempted to stay close to home and catch this one........

That would be a fun games to go to. Blair Oaks wants to win and is scheduling tougher in OOC.

Had not noticed they changed the schedule:

August 24 - Maryville vs. Blair Oaks. (AT William Jewell)

I understand that this is based upon enrollment numbers but moving Blair Oaks down to class 2 is not a very good idea. They need to stay class 3.

Very early but C2 looks like Trinity Catholic and Lamar are destined for one another.

Friend of mine in St Louis said Cardinal Ritter going be scary good too. Worked the recruiting trail hard.
Here is another St. Louis tidbit: check out their top schools, regardless of class, schedules. Many are going regional at a minimum and some are going all in NATIONAL.

CBC is playing a team from Ohio, one from Washington, DC, and two from IL.
Vianney opens hosting Fayetteville AR and ends the regular season at Cincinnati OH Elder. Trinity Catholic opens at Colquitt County GA and ends at Cincinnati OH LaSalle. A number of others are playing top flight teams from Illinois. Rockhurst used to do this but, to my knowledge, no other KC metro school has scheduled beyond neighboring states.

Rockhurst...just looking to the history from 2004 on (outside of adjoining states), have played:

Abilene Texas 2005
Mullen Colorado 2008 2009
Becker, MN 2006
Pomona, CO 2017
Minnetonka, MN 2007 2008

And they are 5-2 collectively, in those games.

I think they also played (and barely lost to) Evangel Christian in Shreveport LA.

Trinity is playing a team from GA...which unfortunately we all know about now, much more than we want to know. And Ohio.
Per capita Cincinnati is probably the #1 HSFB school city north of the Mason-Dixon line. I don't expect StL teams to beat any of them Week 9 but shall see.
