Yes indeed Porter Jr was the 14th overall pick in the NBA draft for 2018 by the Denver Nuggets . Porter JR. played 53 minutes for the Missouri Tigers last season because of a back injury and operation. Some basketball experts had Porter Jr. in the top five picks if healthy.

The Denvers are owned by " Kroenke Sports and Entertainment ". Josh Kroenke ( Stan's son ) is the general manager of operations of the Denver Nuggers. Josh Kroenke is a former basketball player for the Missouri Tigers.

The first pick can sign for $ 5,855,200,00 dollars. The 14th pick can sign for $ 2,299,400.00. NBA teams can sign the above players for 120 % or 80% of the above figures. Any bets on what Porter Jr's new contract with be? These salaries are for the 2017-18 year.

Reasons given for the huge drop in the NBA draft by Porter Jr. was the negatives outweigh the positives on his back injuries.

Yes indeed Michael Porter Jr is a millionaire when his new contract are signed. I believe the top 30 players drafted will receive a 3 year guaranteed contract.

He's one year closer to his next NBA contract instead of working for free for another year. Have to consider that, too.

And, if the concern was his medicals, will another year in the NCAA magically make his MRIs look better versus creating the chance that his back gets worse?

Still a very easy call to make to have gone pro for that deal.

And the multi year puma shoe deal is worth........................?

Rumors have Michael Porter Jr. having a second back surgery. If this true, Porter Jr. did not have success in the first back surgery. Michael's career @ Missouri consist of 53 minutes before being drafted as the 14th pick in the NBA draft. Porter Jr. was drafted by the Denver Nuggets. Stan Kroenke owns the Nuggets and has Missouri ties.

Any comments on the talented Michael Porter Jr.?

Yeah maybe not so good a move by the team that drafted him.
