That clearly is not true, Obama lied about everything. Same as Clinton...They just lied with a Con Man's smile and swagger so you swallowed it and liked it. That's the only difference.

Everyone knows I’m conservative... here is where I disagree with my “tribe”
1. Deficit spending. It’s really biting us now. Not sure the stimulus money really helps that much, but gives people a moral boost
2. Trump is not a moral model for anyone.
3. Pubs pass pork in bills still
4. We didn’t pass pro-life legislation while we had house and senate... tells you about our true priorities.
5. We act like we didn’t spend every day complaining about Obama... we did.

Gallup. 60% approve of Trumps handling of crisis. So far Newsweek is the only poll I have found where Trumps approval of crisis is negative.
I agree with you on all except #5. I may have grumbled to myself a lot of days about Obama but I didn’t whine about it on social media or message boards on a daily basis.
I just committed on this, I have been watching the news non stop, seen alot of live interviews. And the press looking for that gotcha moment. When it does not come you can see they are frustrated. Then later I will see some headline that says Fauci breaks with the president, and they will have just spinets of what he said during the live interview to spin it to look they way they want it too. Again like I said I always thought the fake news narrative was bull crap. But what I am seeing CNBC, NBC and CNN do to spin things, just has me going what the hell, you guys are journalist. But their go to line is the President does it so it makes it okay, I say bullcrap....what the hell have we all gone back to preschool rules now? Just because one person does it just continue to report the facts that you know, do it because many of us are counting on that.

I don't agree with the Dems on extreme socialism and other issues - everything on immigration (agree with Trump), free college (I sacrificed to pay off loans), free health insurance for illegals, I favor a gov sponsored healthcare option(expand on Obamacare) but keep private option, opposed to abortion but understand a women's right to choose (a personal dilemma).
I believe the Dems are a split party. Pelosi does not represent mid western moderate Dems.
I absolutely agree with Trump on immigration. I agree with him on getting out of the Middle East but that doesn't appear that it is going to happen. I agree with him on the need to level the field on trade, but not necessarily on how he is handling it. The jury is still out. So far, I don't see where we gained any ground. And now the virus has wrecked the economy.
My dislike of Trump is about his character and behavior. What kind of person mocks a disabled person in front of an audience and cameras!! That appalled me and told me all I need to know about the man. The way the leader of our country treats people is a reflection on all of us and is not acceptable to me.

I hate deficit spending. I myself worked hard to pay off all my bills years ago. And my family is well off because of that. When you have a paycheck coming in and you don't have any bills going out it changes your life.
Trump reminds me of some of the uncles I knew growing up. You hated the things that came out of their mouth because you knew it was not going to be political correct, however many of the things he is doing are things that probable needed to be done but nobody wanted to do.
Every party passes pork bills, and if you benefit from it you love it, if you don't you hate it. If Missouri was getting all new highways because of something the federal government pass we would be loving it!
As for pro life nobody wants to get their hands dirty, both parties want the courts to do the dirty work whether you are for it or against it.
I still complain about Obama, I complain about Clinton, NAFTA killed manufacturing in the US and we are seeing the glaring affects of that in this pandemic. We had to fly in 1 million n95 mask from China because this once great nation can no longer manufacturer them ourselves. With unemployment rising we have no clue how to do it. It is embarrassing, ever American should be embarrassed that we are relying on China to bail us out!!
Rather than hear the medical experts Fauci and Birx lecture everyday. I would like to hear what the experts on the economy and constitutional law speak. We have always known how to handle a virus. We have never voluntarily shut down everything. How has this impacted us in the real world?
And Fox news doesn't spin in reps favor? You just have to be smart enough to know what is fact and what is somebody's opinion. And your post is only your opinion.
I don't watch FOX news, I really never have. So what is your point? But maybe you are not referencing me? You don't say who you were referencing.
I watch Tucker once a week. I haven't caught him for 2 weeks. He's repetitive and boring to me. Hannity is annoying. TV is still the biggest source, but the extended discussions are more interesting in the pod cast world.
my point is it should not be that way. Just report the news and report what you hear, don't try to spin it to fit what you wanted to hear. This is why we keep hearing journalist are biased, they want to spin it a certain way. I am friends with a Journalist, and he is always railing against Trump and the things he says. I said stop worrying about what he says and how to spin it and just report what he says, take your opinion out of it and let those reading your story to form their own opinion.
Everybody wants to be an opinion journalist and not just a journalist.
In the pod cast world, there are people that oppose the position of viewership in a detailed format. For example, I watched a discussion with a founder of Vox last week. To me this is the difference between the left and right today. One is encouraging debate, the other is shutting it down. I have no patience for the conglomerate media. The weather is the best reporting.
After 4 years of doing this fairly regularly. I have found that the conservative and former lefties that do the discussions are quite critical of President Trump on the issues. Many many times his name never comes to the discussion at all because the topic is not specific to him and honestly he's not that interesting or philosophical. He's all gut and intuition.
The mainstream media is Trump all the time. Thats what makes them so awful. In the sense that they're repeating the same ideas that everyone agrees with already.

I disagree with every liberals policy but try to give actual accurate reasons as opposed to the twisted false reporting and accusations against Trump. Trump has plenty of flaws but he is more open and doesn't try to hide them with spin and deceit like almost every other politician.
