Does anyone know who's covering the Lamar vs. Lutheran north game and also the Lockwood vs Valle game. Thanks for your help

MSHSAA charges the media $500 for the rights to broadcast a live webcast non-championship event, and $1,500 for the right to broadcast a live TV non-championship event. That fee raises to $1,000 and $3,000 respectively for the finals.

Those MSHSAA guys need to cover their $100,000 salaries one way or another, if it takes grey haired grannys in Lamar donating their egg money to see their grandson play so be it

Yes, I was aware of that! Our town raised the needed money so that it could be played live at our movie plaza for those who couldn't travel and make the game. I wasnt sure if since the fee was paid if it would be on YouTube as well.

Now, a good booster club would either already have the funds OR be able to raise them. All legitimately of course. Now who is stopping a student from live streaming the game..........

I wonder about the fee also. If the fee is paid by Lamar supporters to be viewed at the Plaza, does that also pay for it to be streamed web wide for everyone else to view?

As far as MSHSAA rights release should be able to show to whomever.

YouTube may be the one with an issue broadcasting it to a mass audience in a commercial setting(theater).

Terms and conditions forbids that but non-profits might be different. (Probable would never find out anyway)

Prepcasts has both games.

Here's the link to Lamar @ Lutheran North

Here's the link to Lockwood @ Valle
I appreciate what Prepcast does, but the announcers have often left a little to be desired.
Maybe I am spoiled, but when comments like "We don't know much about "said" team or worse "I think that is how you pronounce it" are used in the broadcast, I question the quality.
