I was curious about who from the top ten made it out of their districts, and this is what I found...interesting stuff.

In Class 1, eight of the top ten teams made it out of their district tournaments. #4 Southwest was beaten by #8 Norborne in district 13 and #5 Jamestown was beaten by unranked Pilot Grove in district 9.

Class 2 has six survivors from the top ten with #5 Jasper, #6 Northeast (Cairo), #8 Stoutland, and #10 Hartville losing in their district tournaments. Jasper lost to unranked Adrian in district 13, N.E. (Cairo) loses to unranked Monroe City in district 5, and district 9 was a battle between three state ranked teams with Crocker coming out on top. Stoutland lost to Hartville, who in turn lost to district champion #4 Crocker.

Class 3 has nine teams left with the only team getting beat in districts- #8 Father Tolton who lost to #4 Southern Boone in district 8.

Should be a fun week ahead for all five classes. Sectionals and quarterfinal games in classes 1-3, and district tournaments in classes 4-5. Good luck to all teams.

Class 1 girls 7 out of the top 10 made it out districts. Tuscumbia was beaten by Prairie Home.

Naylor in class 1 never made the rankings all year. A team that finished second and only lost by 3 in the title game. Does anyone that does the class 1 rankings pay attention to SEMO area? I don't think they made the rankings last year either. They appear to be on their way to a repeat final 4.
