Lies is a strong word for people making predictions. I predict the Bill's will win the super bowl this year. So if they don't I guess I lied.

The scientists predicting due dates may have been wrong, but the science is not wrong. Climate change is occurring, and mankind is a significant factor. In many cases, the greenhouse effect on the environment is happening slower than many of the early environmental scientists predicted.

I predict a cataclysmic New Madrid Fault earthquake in the next 100 years. I may be wrong and it may not happen in the next 100 years. But eventually, the fault will break, and the earthquakes of 1811-1812 are a strong indication of the potential magnitude of 8.0+. Science tells us it is inevitable, but no one can predict exactly when it will happen.

Yes climate change is happening and man is contributing... but the idea that we need to overact and make radical changes and adjustments in a short time frame is not scientifically based or even prudent. The ramifications of doing so could in fact create catastrophic problems within the structure of society.

Fast, hurried and rushed knee jerk reactions will be resisted and harshly critiqued by the masses. Those type of policies and guidelines never go over well. And are often full of BS, unneeded changes and provisions that do more harm than good. Not to mention Grift and Waste.

Ask your self this if Climate change was so important to the Elites why did the Govt only allocate 1 billion dollars to Research in the Trillion dollar Biden Bill?

But I seriously doubt Manchin and Sinema was the cause of the small R&D budget. Maybe they should of trimmed back on the 7.5 billion for the EV car Stations.... you know until we actually have enough EV sold to need them. Or the 25 Billion to Airports a Massive Climate Change contributor. They could of invested those Billions in R&D as well.

It is true, we are out of time to make slow changes!!!. The planet is in a crisis. We just past 8 billion in world population. By 2060, it will be 10 billion. The planet has reached the point where it can no longer support the world population with energy, food, clean water, and clean air.

I have previously in other threads posted these comments.....back in Oct of 2022.... I'm well aware of the situation... I am well versed in the tenements of the Population bomb. Here are some copy and pasted post of mind....as proof.

Reduce the population.......or the West can stop brining our way of life to the population of the world.... that's what we can do to change it to make it better.

That is a good one but you can reduce the Human Population like we have in the West with access to Birth Control. But I am working on my own version of a Infinity Gantlet. Mine just won't be Random with the snap LOL.

And it is not Feasible for near 8 billion people to live a Western live style with the availability of Fossil Fuels we currently have.

The more you split up the FF pie to provide energy to 3rd World countries so they can have 40-50 plus light bulbs in their houses, have computers, Cell Phones and Flat screen TV's, the scarcer and more pricey the energy supply becomes. Yes the 40/50 Light Bulbs is a bit of hyperbole but, with more of the world trying to consume and

In our stupid Illogical hippy mind set we somehow decided that Everyone in the World should have a two cars in every garage and a Chicken in every pot. Well that just isn't logically doable with near 8 billion people on the Planet.

The only way at this time to continue to bring up those countries is for our Lifestyle and Resource Use to decrease. I'm 100% against that.

Do you not recall we had this basically same topic of conversation a few months ago? I stated that the West was below our replacement rate and that 3rd world countries BR where exploding and that we should make our help and support contingent on those countries getting on board with population reduction. I was promptly called Thanos and alluded to be Nazi Euthanizer by some? I have posted the BR of some of these countries in other threads as well.

I've been well aware of this problem since the 90's as you can tell from my above post. I had a population class and at that time that pointed out the Western Lifestyle was consuming near half the worlds natural resources we studied the population bomb book to a degree..... The Hubris of thinking we could bring our way of life to the world is insane. In the West we have did our do diligence. Let me put it in the terms. Texas has 171 million acres in the state the population of America is 330 million we could literally give everyone a half acre to live on in Texas and have a bit of room to spare and the rest of the country would be uninhabited.

We need to stop trying to Bring our Culture to the 3rd world..... it's that simple.

As I said we will and can adjust..... we the commoners must have the resolve in the West to let nature take it's course across the globe. Clearly pestilence and famine will run rampant in do time. That is inevitable if we want to maintain our lifestyle.

The Global elites want to redistribute and rebalance all the resources across the Globe by force for the Rabble and Peasants so we all live a mundane pitiful life owning nothing, consuming what they want us to consume and serving them as worker drones.

Of course this redistribution won't effect the Powerful and their families as they will Gulf Wing across the globe and Consume to a even higher degree than before if their agenda becomes the Norm. This is what the powerful have done from the dawn of history. How much down sizing and rejection of Fossil Fuels have these elites done to date? I mean are they now living in 3 Bedroom ranch houses with Solar Panels on the roofs and heat pumps for heating.... are they traveling in compact cars and not flying to their Private Islands and 2nd and 3rd Vacation homes?

The question is will the free citizens of the West roll over and take it or will we demand that our Leaders put our nationalism and needs first and foremost? One of the reasons I'm so pro the industrial Military Complex is that at the end of the day America will have the means necessary to insure we have the Resources to live a desirable lifestyle.
