Cards take the lead and then Segrist goes down. How many times can they fill these holes in the pitching staff and the rest of the lineup too? :(

Pittsburgh unloaded a lot of salary/talent this year. Stanton is out for the rest of the year. All of the playoff contenders have had injuries. The Cardinals problem is their home record, healthy or not.

Isn't that something like three homeruns in his last 8 at bats versus Siegrist?
These guys have to start being honest when something is wrong. After his last pitch he was shaking his arm around and looked like he couldn't feel his fingers. He had to know something wasn't right before that.

The Dodgers have 16 people on the DL including 3/5 of their rotation. Kershaw has been out for weeks. The Mets gave been ravaged with injuries. Miami has lost their two power bats. That's baseball in 2016.
Every twinge or muscle spasm = trip to the DL.

I remember watching and rewinding it when the trainer went out. The trainer asked a question and Siegrist said "I don't know, it's the same sh$% I've been feeling."

Yeah, Dodger rotation is a mess, and Miami is hurting.

These are basically the wild card competition. We need our good starters + Carp/Piscotty/Moss + Oh/Duke to carry us.
