Maxpreps fell and bumped their head when putting class 2 together. # 1 has been the same the last 7 years.

It's always fun to see how others look at the rankings

Think Class 2 a crapshoot.

Any of top 4 can win it.

My Favorite Blair Oaks Think they can outscore the other teams.

You may be right but until someone in class 2 (heck at this point someone in class 3) beats them you are being silly. In Class 2 they have rarely had a close game in the last 7 years.

Lutheran North played two out of state teams that are pretty close to being ranked top 5 in Missouri in all classes, and they played one of them close. Most of them in the top 4 are crap shoots.

Army played Oklahoma too.

LN 49 Class 3 Luthern South 0.
LN 49 Class 4 Westminster Christian 10.

Both bigger schools suck. What’s your point? McDonald county is class 4 school. Lamar has thumped them. Really doesn’t prove anything. Now those two big schools LN had played do though. Lamar will have to work for it this year.

Lasalle doesn't suck. They would be in the top three teams in Missouri out of all classes. And LN lost to them by one point. Reality check coming up in the next several weeks

They lost to Lasalle 12-13. They are rated higher than Lee's Summit West. Hmm? Let's see.

[2018] Lee's Summit West (Lee's Summit, MO) 38, [2018] Lamar (MO) 17

Yeah, there is a new sheriff in town now...

Lutheran North plays at Claas 4 MICDS this Saturday and wraps up regular season play hosting Class 5 Chaminade right before Districts. Rankings are fun to debate, but there won’t be another team in Class 2 more battle tested and prepared than LN will be once the playoffs starts. Lamar’s the champ until they aren’t. With only 3 home games until Districts, LN won’t be intimidated by hostile crowds on the road or be rattled when they get punched in the mouth. It’s gonna be fun watching Blair Oaks, Lamar and them settle things on the field.

Army played a phenomenal game against Oklahoma. Oklahoma was fortunate to win.

I'm a big believer in coach Bailey in a big game. That said from what I've seen of Lamar they are more beatable than in years past. Will they be beat? Who knows but unlike in some recent years I don't Lamar just cruises to a title.

My amateur opinion is that this year Lamar MAY be a one loss team. The question is where is the one loss? At Cassville? Against LN? Against Blair Oaks? These are the only teams that I feel can beat them.

We agree for once. I feel Lamar will have to work hard to stand a chance. Both teams look like run teams who can throw. It will be a battle of who’s line holds up.

Lamar vs LN in the championship. I believe they are on opposite sides of the bracket. I do not think BO can outscore LN unless LN turns the ball over. That game may set all offensive records
