"more about rankings"
Teams will move up and down throughout the year even if they lose or win.
Strength of "current schedule" along with (+) or (-) associated with those teams.
Long story short...
I have no idea.![]()
Who cares? It is like the state rankings. In the end, you have to win games. Can anyone explain the Max Preps ranking system? For example, CJ had dropped quite a bit after their last 2 wins.

If Webb runs the table and wins the championship this year, I would have to believe it would be one of their best TEAM efforts in a long time. Past Cardinal teams have had some real big time playmakers on both sides of the ball, but so far this year it seems they don't have those same type of "super stars" (high school level). If Webb comes back and runs the table, nobody is going to care if they were #7 in Week 5.

"Exceptional" play this year at least on the KC side has been lacking.
No one team is putting up huge offensive or defensive numbers.
Class 4 seems to be so far all about Defense.
It therefore would not be unthinkable that any team with a "Defensive Minded" coaching staff could right the ship and turn around their season.
Only a few teams in C4 would fit that mold and Webb City is certainly number one based on past history.

Huh?? Platte County scoring 39ppg. Kearney 37ppg. Even Ray South is at 24ppg. I guess KEarney could have left their starters in longer against Tonka, scored 100, and got their average up over 45ppg.
