yes its amazing how much actually disciplining the players on your team affects results if you have to cut them lose.

I wouldn't be shocked to see him transfer to Missouri State since his father moved to Missouri from Ohio and is the head coach at Glendale, maybe he needs to get back to his roots and get himself under control. And lord knows Steck could use him on offense....
All I know for sure is he went to his dad's cancer surgery the day before the long suspension. Now he got suspended for getting into an altercation outside the FieldHouse. Pretty sure he's 21 and wasn't driving or hit and running or videoing bad stuff.

That's a nice idea. In reality I don't think Mike Martz in his heyday as an OC could help Mizzou this year.
I think you are right there. They are in dire need of running backs and wide receivers. The man must know offense though. Wonder if he moves over to Mo State and bring Maty there? I just hope Maty gets back on track and playing football.

I have no patience for athletes who are gifted and feel entitled and continue to break the rules with no belief they will be held accountable. Too many students at Mizzou know too much about Maty's activities. Where there is smoke there is fire.

He is a college student not a paid professional so I think there is a different standard of privacy. In my opinion, Pinkel does the right thing by not discussing discipline issues about his team.
When he has had no formal charges filed that have been reported, its hard to say whether he is being investigated or what occurred. The media should hound Maty for answers. He is the one who put himself in the spotlight and the one who chose to ignore his responsibilities to Mizzou and his team. Imo, he needs to apologize to his family for putting more stress on them at a hard time. Maybe he already has-- nit really our business. I hope no school picks him up.

Well and my thought is-- if you are already in trouble and hanging by the skin of your teeth--why go to a bar? Maybe that was the icing on the cake for Pinkel.

Rumors are rumors. As usual, you don't KNOW anything but pray for some type of trouble.
He messed up. At least twice. Pinkel is consistent and fair (it appears).
