Stuff like that decision is why most that follow baseball don't respect him when it comes to in game managing. Horrid. Matheneging at its finest.

That whole sequence was hard to watch. Lynn swinging away with one strike took the cake. It's like they are scared of going 30 games over .500 for some reason.

If you are yelling "pinch hit!!!!" at your TV during the game is it considered second guessing? That was just unreal. Lynn did not have it. He used to do the same thing with Wainwright on days he didn't have it. Call it a day Magic Mike.

Ok we know who on here hates Matheny, but I still think he is better than 90% to 95% of available MGRS, out there. He is on the verge of leading the team to another division and not many MGRS. out there that can make that claim. I know it takes more than just a MGR. but I will take my chances with MM
