In the “good ole days” you heard over and over that major league hitters would always look for a fastball and then adjust to the breaking ball on the fly. Today’s game has people looking for a particular pitch and taking very hittable pitches because it’s not what their algebra teacher said to expect.

 
I know the game and times have changed, but just looked at the stats and the entire MLB has only 12 players hitting over .300, and 34 with 60 or more strikeouts already. That is unbelievable to me.
