They never are (and that goes for nearly every school...)
Why wouldn't you want to UNDER-state your players' size instead of overstating (that way they underestimate you); that's what I would do (would certainly not allow overstating...)
No I mean he isn't smaller than a normal Maryville lineman. He is legitimately that big. I go to church with his grandpa. He might not be 340, but he is 6'8"
Ya, definitely not 340...(height is a bit more difficult to gauge on the webcast, but I doubt that, two); Arkansas has had the largest O-line in ALL of football for the last two years (including the NFL) and even the Razorbacks only average 6'7", 328...
I would say he's 325+ but at that size, each meal might bump him 10 pounds at a time lol regardless, he is a very large 18 year old

Ya, after I reread it I realized I wasn't very clear haha, but typically, I do agree. Everyone's roster looks better than reality.. The only true exception I can think of is Hamilton, at least while Dave Fairchild was the HC prior to this year. They were always understated in the program.

Fun game to broadcast. Both teams played really well. Maryville just had a few too many mistakes and that cost them the game. Congrats to Coach Thomas and Odessa. They had a gameplan and executed to perfection.
Yes, congrats to Odessa, they were the better team tonight who made the least amount of mistakes. You cannot spot a good team 3 touchdowns and expect to win but I give Maryville credit for trying to come back. I hope Odessa can now bring a trophy back to the west side of the state. It was a dog fight as I expected.
Agreed, at least in 2010. Much larger than advertised.
