Last team to beat them was Savannah in overtime in 2011. Same year Savannah went to Class 4 state semi and lost a tough game to Webb City.

On paper I think there is 2-3 MEC teams that have better talent then Maryville this year. But the mental part has been toughest part to overcome past few years. (aka Smithville should have beat them couple of times)

Should be a good game Friday with 2 mirror image teams playing each other.
