I didn't know at the time that Jon Jay has a wrist problem and can't play. Not sure how long that is supposed to last but I guess they did need another OF guy. I assume they don't want to bring up any of the "prospect guys" until September for contractual reasons down the road.

I can't imagine what Motte's role will ever be on this team again even if he gets back what he had. They have too many young guys that have to be ahead of him on a depth chart from now on.
