Our boys played a great game Saturday even having to beat the refs at adrian. . Keep your eyes out for the Comets because we are young and will be back!

I don't know if I would blame the Refs for Marionville's inability to field kickoffs. Marionville had a lot of Sr. starters this year. The Qb will be hard to replace.

Yep. Refs were probably from Adrian. Maybe even rode the bus with them to the game.

One of the refs had a license plate that said Veer2Eternity and another said BHPzBoy. Do with that what you will.

I heard the only reason the Homer boys got in to reffing in the first place was to stick it to the Southwest Conference. Job well done Homer gang.
This isn’t the first year I’ve heard Marionville was going to be state champs.
Some say that if it was up to them, any team with Comets as their mascot would be banned from playoffs. But only for football

Marionville has a good fb tradition since at least the mid 70s. Adrian great tradition too. Tough game, props to both. Good luck to Adrian .
If Marionville played with a bit more discipline? They did have a lot of seniors.
