Mahomes Option

obviously speed option was a good call when it was a touchdown and a bad call when Mahomes got hurt. I thought it was perplexing after the game when sports radio blamed Bienemy for calling the play when Mahomes got hurt but praised Reid for the fourth and one pass. its either one or the other. my guess is Reid calls all the plays.

I disagree. It was a bad call both times it was called. There are several other ways to get one yard that don’t require risking injury to possibly the greatest quarterback who ever lived. Bet we don’t see it again.

I think its perfectly acceptable in the post season to run your qb if its the regular season skip it

If you ask me, a former QB, it is good call. Injury can take place anywhere on the field or off. You don't play the game thinking of injury. I would be talking to Mahomes about sliding instead of a head first dive though. You ask Mahomes and I bet he wants to run it again.

Since this was not the Steelers, I normally wouldn't care but since the Browns beat my Steelers, I feel the need to give my opinion. With Mahomes injuring his foot and/or toe earlier in the game, running an option play there was a BAD call. Not only could it cause additional damage to that injury, it obviously opened the possibility to new injuries. Almost as bad of a play call as having your back up RB run in the ball, in the rain, in your own endzone!

I think he dove head first because of his foot injury it looked like he wasn't putting any weight on it all game

we have rbs for this purpose, shows our Achilles heel. andy reid approved

Good call. KC has ran it several times with excellent success. Would I like to see it with let's say Hill and Hardman being the QB/Pitchman? Yes, yes I would.

As a QB, the Mox feels like at that point in the game it was an unnecessary risk to run your QB in a short yardage situation. The game was not make-or-break at that point.

Of course, a back-up QB like you would say that...and we all know about he whipped cream on the starter's girlfriend. No matter how you tell that story, we all know what really went down. Platonic...my a$$.

How good are ya at running coaches out of town?
Maybe Running isn't the best word how bout
How good are ya at chasing coaches in your new Rascal out of town?
Okay you bozos and clowns! First all, I ALLEGEDLY ran Coach Nickerson out of town. You can ask anyone in the pool hall if they saw me at Nickerson's house that night.

Second, I do NOT need a Rascal to get around. My doctor was actually impressed with my BMI and overall health during my last physical. So NICE TRY!!!
