Sorry, this post is straight up pure TDS. People aren’t dropping dead for taking a drug for a few days that some people have been taking for years.
Lying or not, that was really insane. Only 3 things can be true:
1. He's lying about taking it
2. He's taking it because someone incorrectly told him he should when the evidence is strongly to the other side
3. He's taking it because the FDA and every decent study lied to the general public

My vote is for #2 as a perfect encapsulation of his thought process. He heard he should try it on March 20th and never bothered to read/learn anything since then that would allow him to adjust his prior.

Former FDA Dr. Scott Gottlieb said basically the same thing Trump said. There are several instances of Drs.using it as a preventative drug.
